As long-term outcomes the consortium of the Knowledge Alliance “Projects for the Digital Transformation” (ProDiT) planned to initiate four double-degree master programmes’ agreements within the three years after the Erasmus+ ProDiT project ends. Nevertheless, in 2024 already two such agreements were signed: one with KU Leuven (https://go-study-europe.de/signing-a-double-degree-agreement-between-fh-dortmund-and-ku-leuven/) and one with Astana IT University (https://go-study-europe.de/signing-a-double-degree-agreement-between-fh-dortmund-and-astana-it-university/).
The cooperation between FH Dortmund and KU Leuven has been lasting for more than one decade and after the agreement was signed in January 2024, this double degree strengthens further the collaboration between universities: student and staff mobility, sharing and consolidating knowledge and experiences are the cornerstones of this cooperation. FH Dortmund and KU Leuven are currently working together on the number of European educational projects, and Erasmus+ ProDiT project is one of them.
In May 2024 another agreement was reached, which involves a very attractive Higher Education Institution in the region of Central Asia – Astana IT University. The signing ceremony took place during the 5th anniversary of the Institution, which disregard its young age, has already achieved several important academic, research and scientific goals. This new milestone opens the doors to new endeavours connecting Eastern and Western worlds of research and academia.
