Dortmund International Research Conference (IRC) 2022

The thirteenth Dortmund International Research Conference (Dortmund IRC) successfully took place on 1 – 2 July 2022 at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (FH Dortmund).

The Dortmund IRC is a platform and forum for international and interdisciplinary research networking. This year, the Dortmund IRC took place in an experimental hybrid format. In the first year after coronavirus pandemic, FH Dortmund welcomed around 130 participants from 18 countries in person and online. During the conference, 40 papers were delivered in the form of oral presentations, videos and posters on the topics like Project Management, Education, Workplace & Employability, Sustainability, Digital Transformation, Engineering & Informatics, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. This gave the participants an opportunity to take a closer look at the research areas and to obtain the latest results. During the conference, the next conference papers were presented on the research related to Erasmus+ KA2: Knowledge Alliance “Projects for the Digital Transformation” (ProDiT):

Additionally, the ProDiT consortium organised the TechTalk “Digital Transformation: A Journey”, – a new format that was presented during the Dortmund IRC 2022 for the first time. This format represents a mix of a podium discussions and interaction with the audience to discuss various topics related to technology-based concepts. During the social events in the evenings, the participants had an opportunity to discuss the latest updates from the partner universities and projects, and to establish new contacts.
