CIDIP 2021 Workshop

The Spanish Association of Project Management and Engineering (AEIPRO) together with the Polytechnic School of Alcoy of the Universitat Politècnica de València, organised the 25th International Congress on Project Management and Engineering (CIDIP) at the Alcoy Campus from 7th to 9th July 2021 under a blended format. This event is an annual meeting between business, academia, administration and industry, dedicated to project engineering and project management. The audience for the congress was a mixture of cross-disciplinary researchers and practitioners from industry and universities.

In frames of this Congress the consortium of the Knowledge Alliance “Projects for the Digital Transformation” (ProDiT) was presented by Prof. Carsten Wolff (FH Dortmund) on July 7th, 2021, within the session called “Digital Transformation Projects in Higher Education”. The Erasmus+ ProDiT project is building a community, training and knowledge cluster of universities, companies and other partners to provide the required competences for project management for the digital transformations. It combines the international, intercultural and interdisciplinary competencies that are indispensable in the project. This project pretends to develop standards, content and learning materials carried out by open communities of practice (OpenCops) with university and company experts.

Other digital transformation projects were also presented during the workshop to foster fruitful discussions, exchange the experience and opinions with industry and academia partners. The outcome of this presentation became a critical reflection of relevant project approaches and deliverables and a feedback, which can serve as a source for the future project success.
